To Primitive Politeness (p.p) / πρώιμη ευγένεια / Είναι η φυσική, προγονική ευγένεια πριν γίνει κώδικας, είναι η ζωώδης έκφραση πριν γίνει συμπεριφορά, είναι η γνήσια, ζωντανή, ανόθευτη παράσταση πίσω από την αναπαράστασή της. Ανήκει στην τάξη της πρωτογενούς αταξίας πριν την κατάλυσή της από τον «νεοάνθρωπο.» ​

-- The Primitive Politeness (p.p) / early politeness / It is the natural, primordial politeness before it becomes code, it is the animal expression before it becomes behavior, it is the genuine, living, unadulterated representation behind its representation. It belongs to the order of primitive disorder before it is crushed by the "neo anthropos." ​

P.P. MANIΦΕΣΤΟ

Κατάγεται από την πρωταρχική ουσία, δεν το γνωρίζει, δεν τη γνωρίζει, οδηγείται από αυτήν. Κινείται όπως το νερό στη γη. Ψάχνει για μαλακό έδαφος ανάμεσα στις πέτρες. Διαγράφει ευγενικά τη πορεία του. Παρατηρεί με περιέργεια το κάθε τι, σαν να είναι η πρώτη φορά, κάθε φορά. Κοιτάει τα αστέρια, βυθίζεται στο άπειρο. Αναδύεται γνωρίζοντας τη κλίμακά του. Είναι ο πλάνητας στη γη του Διονύσου που πολυμήχανα επιλύει κόμπους. Η ομορφιά παραμένει το iδανικό Έχει αφήσει στο σώμα του σημάδια το απάτητο βουνό και στην ψυχή του, το δέος του απέραντου βυθού. Η πείρα του το οδηγεί στο άπειρο. Κοιμάται έμπειρο – ξυπνάει άπειρο. Δεν θυμάται το παρελθόν δεν φαντασιώνεται το μέλλον. Χτίζεται και γκρεμίζεται την κάθε στιγμή. Ισορροπεί στο τεντωμένο σχοινί ζωής και θανάτου. Αρνείται την επανάληψη. Δεν γνωρίζει πολλαπλασιασμό. Βλέπει την πρόσθεση σαν αφαίρεση. Χρησιμοποιεί τα μέλη του. Ταξιδεύει για να γνωρίσει το σώμα του. Σώμα του είναι ότι βλέπει γύρω του. Κάθε μέλος στο σώμα του έχει το δικό του χαρακτήρα το δικό του πρόσωπο. Εκφράζεται με το χαρακτήρα που έχει το κάθε μέλος του. Οι γυμνασμένοι μύες στο πρόσωπο πετυχαίνουν την απόλυτη σύσπαση σε κάθε ερέθισμα. Τα εργαλεία του προεκτάσεις στο σώμα του. Διατηρούν και αυτά την αυτονομία, τον χαρακτήρα και τον κύκλο ζωής τους. Αφηγείται παραστάσεις, όπως τα σύννεφα στα μάτια όποιου έτυχε να τις δει. Σέβεται στη συνεργασία αγαπάει στο γλέντι. Ρέει στο ανθρώπινο συνεχές. Είναι οι άλλοι προσωπικά. ​

P.P. MANIFEST

It originates from the primordial substance — it does not know it, it is led by it. It moves as water upon the earth. It seeks soft soil among the stones. It traces its course with grace. It observes everything with wonder, as if it were the first time, every time. It gazes at the stars, dives into the infinite. It rises, aware of its own scale. It is the wanderer in the land of Dionysus, cleverly untying knots. Beauty remains the ideal. The untrodden mountain has left its marks upon its body, and in its soul, the awe of the boundless deep. Its experience leads it toward the infinite. It sleeps seasoned —awakens infinite. It remembers no past, imagines no future. It is built and undone every moment. It balances on the taut rope of life and death. It denies repetition. It knows not multiplication. It sees addition as subtraction. It uses its limbs. It travels to discover its body. Its body is everything it sees around it. Each limb bears its own character, its own face. It expresses itself through the character of each of its parts. The trained muscles of the face achieve perfect contraction at every impulse. Its tools are extensions of its body. They, too, preserve their autonomy, their character, their life cycle. It narrates visions — like clouds in the eyes of those who happened to behold them. It respects in collaboration, loves in festivity. It flows through the human continuum. Το ανθρώπινο συνεχές συγκρατεί το ανθρωπογενές σε ένα συνολικό ρευστό. Ρέει. Το εγώ από μόνο του ή συνδεδεμένο σε οικογένειες, παρέες, ομάδες, εθνικότητες, ράτσες λειτουργεί σαν τομή στο ανθρώπινο συνεχές. Το “Πριν” αναζητά την πηγή. Το «πριν» (που ονοματοδοτεί την εγκατάστασή μου στην έκθεση) δεν είναι νοσταλγία, είναι ανασκαφή που αναζητά τη ρίζα της «ευγένειας» (politeness) πριν ακόμα κωδικοποιηθεί, πριν οριστεί ως κώδικας. Η εμφάνιση του κώδικα ορίζει την αρχή του ανθρωπόκαινου. Η επιτηδειότητα του νέου ανθρώπου να ανάγει το πρωταρχικό του περιβάλλον σε κώδικα, ευνοεί τον πολλαπλασιασμό του: από τον πλίνθο και τη γραφή έως το σήμερα που κάθε δευτερόλεπτο ζωής μετατρέπεται σε κωδικοποιημένο σχήμα. Ο νέος άνθρωπος κατασκευάζει μόνος του την αναπαράσταση του κόσμου που μέσα της ζει. ​

-- The human continuum holds the anthropogenic within a fluid whole. It flows. The self—alone or linked in families, groups of friends, collectives, ethnicities, races—acts as an incision into the human continuum. “Before” seeks the source. The “before” (which gives its name to my installation in the exhibition) is not nostalgia. It is excavation. It searches for the root of gentleness or politeness before it was codified, before it was defined as a rule. The emergence of the code marks the dawn of the Anthropocene. The new human’s skill at turning their primary environment into code fuels its multiplication: from clay and writing to today, where every second of life is turned into a codified pattern. The new human constructs by themselves the representation of the world in which they live.
